Speaker Profile:

DR DHEERAJ PARAMESHA CHAYA is currently a faculty in the Department of Geopolitics and International Relations, MAHE. His PhD is in Intelligence Studies, from the School of History, Politics and International Relations, University of Leicester, UK .Previously, he obtained his MPhil degree from the School of International Studies, JNU.

His research interests lie in the areas of Intelligence and Counterintelligence in Statecraft, Strategic Studies and International Security, Intelligence Analytical Techniques and Research Methods, Counterterrorism, Proxy-warfare and Sub-conventional Warfare, and Serious and Organised Crime.

He has written a book titled India’s Secret Intelligence Culture and Strategic Surprises: Spying for South Block’ which has been published by Routledge. He has also published a number of papers in the areas of his research interests.
